Tonight Joe Biden and Donald Trump will face off in the first presidential debate of the 2020 election tonight in Cleveland, Ohio, the heart of one of the traditional battleground states.

The event is one of four presidential and vice presidential debates between now and the November 3, 2020 election. All four debates will be moderated by a single individual.

2020 First Presidential Debate
Date: September 29, 2020, Tuesday
Time: 9:00pm - 10:30pm ET. The debate will last 90 minutes with no commercial breaks
Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic Health Education Campus
Moderator: Chris Wallace, Fox News Sunday Anchor
Candidates: Former Vice President and Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden
and President Donald Trump
How To Watch: The debate will be shown live on every major network and cable news channel, including ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and C-SPAN, YouTube and online streaming

Topics: There will be no opening statements. Instead, moderator Chris Wallace will launch right into a series of questions he has chosen, divided into six 15-minute segments, including: 1) The Trump and Biden records, 2) The Supreme Court, 3) Covid-19, 4) the economy, 5) race and violence in cities, 6) the integrity of the election.

RealClearPolitics average of eleven national polls conducted between September 15th - September 28th shows Biden leading Trump by 6.1%.
