The Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) team, Wednesday night, who have put together a truly inspirational program, unveiled the transformed 2024 United Center stage -- where some 50,000 Democrats will celebrate the Harris-Walz ticket and the Biden-Harris administration’s historic record of accomplishments.

"Democrats are committed to delivering a historic convention in a city that represents our strength, our unity, and our diversity," said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison.

While McCormick Place is the venue for daytime party business, meetings and events, the United Center is the main venue for the four-night convention program, starting between 5:30pm-6:30pm.

The elaborate arena production design is the culmination of over a year of planning and building "the figurative, and now literal, stage for our party and our nominees,’” said DNCC Executive Director Alex Hornbrook. “It’s been a long journey, but we’re so glad that the stage is finally here. It’s built, and it’s ready for showtime.”

Every inch of the arena setting was meticulously and deliberately thought through, designed to be an interactive and immersive experience that will make attendees feel welcome and fully engaged.

In contrast to the Republican National Committee (RNC) convention in Milwaukee, said DNCC Senior Director of Communications Matt Hill, where the country witnessed a Donald Trump who only fights for himself, only cares about himself -- our convention is not going to revolve around one person. It's going to revolve around the American people that we represent and we fight for.”

Amongst the approximately 15,000 press who will be attending from around the world, are 200+ content creators or trusted "influencers" who will reach Americans via social media on ticktock, YouTube, Instagram and other platforms.

The DNCC announced the first-ever Creator Platform to be built directly on the convention floor, giving content creators a front row seat to history and the ability to capture 360 degree content of the convention hall.

The Program
Democratic leaders will grace the stage each night, with President Joe Biden scheduled to deliver the convention's keynote Monday night, the 19th, along with an appearance by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton will address delegates on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Walz will also address the crowd on Wednesday, and Harris will close out the convention on August 22.
