DemDaily: The Last Believer

The only Republican presidential candidate to fully embrace Climate Change has suspended his campaign.

Senator Lindsay Graham (SC), who failed to garner more than .5% in national polls, has thrown in the towel, leaving a field of Republican nay-sayers on an issue that 97% of climate researchers worldwide agree is human-caused and at crisis level.

"Climate change is not science. It's religion," Senator Ted Cruz

Earlier this month close to 200 countries met in Paris to adopt an agreement to curb global warming, aimed at reducing emissions and total warming "to well below 2°C [3.6°F] above preindustrial levels "... to reduce the impact of climate change.

"The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive." - Donald Trump

Despite the historic pact, the Republican front runners, as well as "*more than 56 percent of Republicans in the 114th Congress and 70 percent of Senate Republicans deny or question the science behind human-caused climate change...."

... sticking with the oft-quoted Republican party line from last summer "we're not scientists."
We agree.
