DemDaily: The 2023 Election Calendar!

February 24, 2023

Democrats have had a good week.

In Virginia, Jennifer McClellan easily won the Fourth District Congressional Special Election in Virginia, and liberal judge Janet Protasiewicz was the top vote-getter of two advancing to the critical Wisconsin State Supreme Court general election in April.

Next Tuesday is Chicago's mayoral race, one of the many impactful 2023 "off-year" elections that will help determine the political climate going into the presidential year.

DemList, as always, will keep you informed on all developments.

In addition to three gubernatorial races -- in Kentucky, Louisiana and Mississippi -- there are legislative, mayoral, municipal, judicial, and/or local elections up in 2023 in nearly 40 states.
