DemDaily: Still Here
November 18, 2024
We are still here. At least for now.
When the elections are over, DemList is still here as a trusted, valuable resource, keeping you updated on all results and developments in the wake of the 2024 election.
Due to the outcome of the election, however, and the resulting loss of institutional support around the would-be Democratic Inaugural celebration, we cannot continue without your support. It is that simple.
We have been here for you for almost nine years. Informing and engaging the national electorate and political family through the DemDailys. The daily column is followed in every state and Dems Abroad in 50 countries, with a loyal open rate of 45% by our influential followers.
That open rate reached 62% during the Democratic National Convention, where DemList was on the ground, producing for the fourth presidential cycle the free Democratic National Convention Calendar -- which profiled and promoted more than 450 party and allied events.
If your organization was one of those that benefited, or if you appreciated the resource as a convention attendee, delegate or follower, please contribute $25, $50 or $100 now to help us get through the end of the year.
Although DemList is a recommended resource and ally of the Democratic Party, we are not funded by the Party and must rely on individual contributions to support our work.
| If you appreciate the trusted, in-depth, timely issues and campaign briefings from the DemDailys, please say thank you with a contribution of $25, $50 or $100 HERE! |

In the shadow of the presidential election, and the ongoing battle for control of Congress, thousands of other races took place at the statewide, municipal and local levels across the nation.

DemDaily: Where Things Stand: Senate and House
November 12, 2024
As the transition and "peaceful transfer of power" begins between the Biden and Trump administrations, the national and international communities are still reeling from the former president's November 5 victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential election.

Republicans flipped three Senate seats -- in Ohio, Montana and West Virginia -- to take control of the US Senate, with one race undecided.
Trump outperformed the GOP Senate candidates in all seven swing states; Democrats held onto Senate seats in four of the critical battlegrounds, including Wisconsin (Baldwin), Nevada (Rosen) and Michigan (Slotkin). .... Read the full article.
DemDaily: Harris Concedes Election but Not the Fight
November 8, 2024
The 2024 Presidential election is over, bringing to an end the most consequential, divisive and expensive election in modern history -- one that will reverberate with ramifications for decades.
Republicans won the fight for the Presidency and Congress but lost the battle for the soul of their Party, electing a twice-impeached convicted felon to represent their ideals, values and agenda.
In the days and weeks to come, there will be no shortage of analyses by the parties, pundits, pollsters and media, while a battle-weary electorate, or at least half of it, looks for direction. Their future, and ours, depends on our response.
In the interim, as we absorb the shock of the presidential election's outcome, the battle for control -- or the balance -- of Congress still rages in undecided races. Read the full article.
