DemDaily: Organizing Corps 2020! Deadlines

February 4, 2020

While we await the final results of the first presidential primary caucus, a reminder of some important deadlines!

Applications for the Democratic National Committee's Organizing Corps 2020 are February 18th for bootcamps and March 4th for the immersion program.

This is a very cool pipeline program for organizing and development of our future political stars and leaders -- and they get paid!

Please read and pass this information on to your colleagues, friends and relatives who may know potential candidates.

The Low Down: Organizing Corps 2020's Bootcamp and Immersion programs are on-the-ground political trainings run by campaign veterans, and focused on recruiting, training and placing students in battleground states in the 2020 presidential election.

Early investments in organizing are critical to ensure that Democrats have the talent to beat Donald Trump in November. The DNC has already trained over 300 talented organizers in wave one of the program this summer.

Organizing Corps Wave 2: Bootcamps
Targeted to college seniors looking to organize during the general election. During Spring break, OC2020 will be hosting a one-week crash-course in campaign organizing in Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Applications due February 18th

Organizing Corps Wave 3: Immersion Program
A 5-week, full-time, in-field intensive paid training program designed for recent graduates and career switchers.

The program will run from April 27, 2020 through May 31, 2020 in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Applications due March 4th

Forward this on to a student you know, and help them become a part of taking back the White House in 2020. In their voice, their vote, and their leadership, lies the future of the Democratic party.
